Meet Aneesh Khetani…
Faculty: Bio Science / Nanoscience
Year: 3rd
Hometown: Calgary/Mumbai
Best piece of advice for incoming students:
Give everything a chance. University is a place where you’ll discover your hidden talents and interests so if something sounds fun and there’s even a slight chance you might be interested in doing it, just do it.
Favourite space on campus:
I like low traffic areas outdoors where you can just sit and appreciate how nice it is. There’s a few on campus that you’ll have to discover on your own, but look by Science B and Education. Also as a piece of advice, use the gallagher library if you need to print something quickly and you’re in the sciences complex (Favorite place on campus to print)
Fondest UofC memory:
Orientation week (met people that I’m still very close to), Relay for Life (overnight cancer fundraiser at UofC), Bi-weekly improv shows at that Empty Space in Mac Hall.
Why Aneesh loves OWEEK!
You never know who you’re going to meet and the relationships you’re going to form with them. Also, the amount of faculty pride you get to see during OWeek is super impressive.
